A Special Day | Poem

I have watch and wondered

How seconds counts into minutes

And minutes increases into hours

This then gave birth to days

Among which is this calendar day

A day for it specialty

That is singled among other days

Though concreted into an hour

And narrowed into a minute

But actually displayed in seconds

For birth

It opens a restricted world

That is label within a timeframe

Into an enormous world

With an unlimited space for achievement

For Naming

It identifies and differentiates

That feature for distinctiveness

Into possible ownership

With an expectation towards fulfillment

For graduating

It introduces the finest for a beginning

That cements the life before now

Into rearranging after now

With the capacity for attainment

For marriage

It fuses parties with one heart

That compliments each other’s destinies

Into procreating its kind with love

With the mind of fashioning a delighted home

For testimony

It spells an appreciative heart

That can not obstruct a floodlight-Joy

Into the view of spectator

With the intention to share its splendour
