Can I Be Better? | Poem
Growing as a kid
Born into an average family
Curiosity played its path as it calls
Empowering me to know more
But when deficiency fashioned a hurt
I begin to question
Can I be better?
Success is sweet
Seeing an outstanding result
Make me image how great I can be
It also fires up my body, even my spirit into juggling
But when failure generates a pause
I begin to question
Can I be better?
Standing after a major fall
Is the expectation from all that lives
And it fortifies against all ordeals
Giving a shock-absorber as of a backbone
But when scar multiplies
I begin to question
Can I be better?
Opposing stain with effective good report
Can tag one as becoming unbeatable
A letter for generation to read
And also a pride to ones creator
But when frustration/depression creeps in
I begin to question
Can I be better?
Believing in oneself
Is a defence against opponent?
And a shield that promotes victory
Presenting a hidden giant
But when negativity is allowed to rule
I begin to question
Can I be better?
Challenges; A must, because it’s everywhere
It spurs us into enhancement
Squeezing the precious juice from our lives
But negativity if not combine with positivity Entraps; So why all the troubles
Now, I understand
I can I be better
