Is There a Place Called ‘There’? (Poem)
There!
A place well desired
A place or thing we unconsciously seek for
A new and unforeseen treat in man
A mystery that storms the world
A place that has not been named
Understanding this, and I ask,
Is there a place called ‘there’ for us?
Born with the gift of speed
Having insight to one’s capability
Enrolling as an athlete
Progressively getting to the top in athletics
But been crippled by events called accident
Not getting to the desired peak
And a question is asked
Is there a place called ‘there’ for such a person?
Born into a lovely home
And natured to grow, with great attention
But had an enormous strength entrapped in her bosom
Looking for ways to release the strength,
Rages about everything and everyone
And a question is asked
Why all the anger?
Is ‘there’ a place or thing we unconsciously seek for?
Born healthy and perfectly
To a lovely home
On growing to a young man
Discovers a tree-like growth
From his face, hands and legs which were incurable
And a question is asked,
What is he metamorphosing into?
Is that one of the many unforeseen treat in a man?
The Earth, a perfect design
Made of fields and layers
Magnet field for navigation
Ozone layer for protection
But there is a place called bermuda triangle
A place without Earth magnet field
And a question is asked
Is that one of the many mysteries that will storm the world?
Having discovered so many invention
This age is being named as “Jet age”
But after the discovery of space
There is no known house built in space
And no public transportation yet installed
And a question is asked
Is that one of the many yet-to-discover inventions?
Searching for answers
I found in the old good book
“He hath made everything beautiful in his time”….. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
Then I understand
That ‘there’ is a place for everyone, and everything
Yes, it may not be the way we imaging or desire
But the way the creator sees as beautiful
So if there is a place called ‘there’, we will definitely get there!
